Efficient Low Cost Sludge Dewatering
The Volute ES series is a range of efficient low cost sludge dewaterers. The Volute is capable of dewatering sludges from 0.1 % dry solids (1000 mg/l) to over 25 % dry solids (ds). The Volute is a simple and robust unit which is installed in more than 1100 industrial and municipal plants around the world.
Ownership costs of the Volute are extremely low as the units have large treatment capacities coupled with low power costs. Some plant operators have realised return of their investment in less than 6 months.
For durability units are constructed of stainless steel which means plant operators will have many years of trouble free operation. The standard unit is supplied with a flow control tank, flocculation tank(s), thickening and dewatering unit, sludge discharge chute, filtrate capture tank and control panel. The flow control tank(s) can be modified to act as a chemical dosing / coagulation tank if necessary.
The Volute can be supplied as a stand alone unit to retrofit into an existing process line or as part of a complete containerised package including feed and discharge pumps, polymer dosing and controls. All your site needs is a level base to place the package before connecting pipes and a power supply.
